4) Government (State and Federal) Grants and Programs – There are different programs available from different States that are available for innovators
5) Energy companies – well, the big oil & gas companies are actually major investors in renewable energy; such as Shell, Chevron.
6) Utilities companies – likewise, utilities companies have also formed their own investment arms, especially relating to smart grid, energy efficiency and energy distribution technologies; as well as project funding.
